E.A.K Ramen

Yokohama-style in Toronto.

Overview

AD Projects served as general contractor for E.A.K. Ramen's first Canadian location, a quick-service ramen restaurant built out in Toronto's Brookfield Place, inside the Bay Wellington Tower on Bay Street. Designed by Denizens of Design, the concept brings Yokohama-style ramen - rooted in E.A.K.'s original Japanese locations - to the Canadian market for the first time, landing in one of downtown Toronto's most recognized and centrally located commercial addresses.

As general contractor, our team managed the full tenant improvement build-out: a commercial kitchen fitted with dedicated ranges, exhaust hood systems, and walk-in cold storage, a pass-through service window connecting kitchen to front counter, and a storefront finished to hold its own within a high-traffic food court. The project required close coordination with Brookfield's base building team - working within the noise restrictions and after-hours access windows typical of an occupied office tower, alongside a timely turnaround to meet the client's opening schedule. We're grateful for the trust this overseas client placed in our team to execute the build carefully, thoughtfully, and on time.
